I do thumbnails too

The video above featured my work on thumbnails. I set up a whole separate Carrd for that, which you can check out here!

How I make my magic

My trusty editing tools are MAGIX Vegas Pro 14 on desktop, and Alight Motion on mobile. I've been using Vegas since 2015, and Alight Motion since 2019. I use Vegas for long videos and complex edits, while I use Alight Motion for graphic design and original motion graphics. Most of my recent thumbnails were made on Alight Motion. I'm editing some videos with Adobe Premiere Pro as of late.Other tools I use include but aren't limited to:
- Adobe Illustrator for logo design and vectorization
- GIMP (and Adobe Photoshop in rare cases) for image editing
- Audacity and Levelator for audio processing and cleanup
- XMedia Recode for video reencoding on desktop
- Video Converter (from Inverse.AI) for video reencoding on mobile
- Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio for music arrangement and mashups
- VN and YouCut for longer videos edited on my phone
- Adobe After Effects on very rare occasions.
I have also used these plug-ins for Vegas Pro:
- BorisFX Sapphire
- BorisFX Continuum Complete
- Red Giant Universe
- ReelSmart Motion Blur (aka RSMB)
- Twixtor
I've used the following tools for editing images on my phone (all available on Android):
- PixelLab
- Adobe Photoshop Fix
- AI Enlarger
- Picsart
- Google Snapseed
- Glitch Lab
- Background Eraser (removing backgrounds on illustrated images)
- Photoroom (the same thing for 3D and IRL images).
Previous videos pre-2016 were made with similar tools but for iOS, including:
- iMovie
- CuteCut
- Phonto
- Autodesk Sketchbook
- Vizmato (formerly Game Your Video)
- Lumify
- YouTube Capture (now defunct).
Videos before 2015 were made on the Windows XP edition of Windows Movie Maker, along with plug-ins that allowed me to use blending modes as transitions (RehanFX), sometimes with the help of Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 and E.M. Free Video Powerpoint Converter.

Some basic info first

INNERLMNT (pronounced "inner element") is my online pseudonym, one of many others — but you can call me Arbër! I'm a Kosovo-Albanian video editor and graphic designer who has been online for way too long and kinda just does whatever.I got onto YouTube in 2011 and made videos about cartoons and shows that I like, and (since 2015) sometimes even syncing them to music. All of this has been to fulfill my creative passion from the start, and while it would be nice to make money through it, it's currently mostly just how I spend my free time.Because I'm in university at the time of writing (as well as looking for a full-time job), I can't guarantee frequent uploads. I still try to post what I can on certain places. My skills range include (in order from most-to-least qualified): video editing + 2D motion graphics, graphic design, sound design and mixing, website design, closed captioning, copy editing, 3D print modelling, etc.

INNERLMNT: MY OWN WORK

My bread and butter lies in fandom edits (what others may call "(anime) music videos") - where I take shows and movies I like and set them to music, fancy effects, typography and motion design. This has been my thing since 2015, after getting inspired by a Rhett and Link edit.I've successfully run four multi-editor projects, posted over 90 edits, and 8 music videos. You can watch them all by clicking below! (note: a lot of these are in my other channel, evolve330. Care to learn more?)

I also love making intros and such! Chances are that you came to my channel from Jack Douglass and his show Yesterday I Asked You, because I made an intro for one of his contests. It appeared on this video (and of course, this playlist), and was later used on YIAY episode 568! You can see the intro here.

What I do

INNERLMNT

INNERLMNT is my current YouTube channel. I post edits on there, in addition to miscellaneous graphic design stuff. You may have seen me from that one intro I made for jacksfilms on YIAY!

Charley Marlowe: Piratecoric Voice Actor

I'm a video editor, captioner, as well as a social media/channel manager for my friend and birthday twin Charley Marlowe. They're a voice actor, writer, and voice director on YouTube, known for such projects like the Mystery Shack Lookback podcast, Real-Time Fandub, What Probably Happens In (Gravity Falls), as well as numerous other projects you might have heard their voice in!I'm responsible for co-managing their YouTube, Tumblr and TikTok accounts - editing videos, preparing and optimizing thumbnails and metadata, making them into bite-sized clips for TikTok, scheduling livestreams, and running their bespoke pirate Discord server.

I run two wikis: the Real-Time Fandub Wiki, and the Inside Job Wiki. On both I take care of layout and graphic design, work with CSS and wikitext, write up extensive articles about the shows' characters, episodes, lore and other quirks, as well as work together with other admins to do general maintenance of the contents and community.

Miscellaneous Stuff

Hot Garbage is a meme channel I launched during the pandemic where I post whatever I want. A video from there went viral after being shared on Twitter by Game Maker's Toolkit, so it must be good! (by the way, this isn't my first try at a meme channel)Gravity Falls: Deep Woods is a fan-made project led by MysterySeeker which explores aspects that its namesake, the Disney series Gravity Falls, didn't explore in canon. I volunteered to provide a title card that used their logo and was animated like the one from the original. You can see it in action here! The Reverse Falls Project is a project by Red World Productions based on a Gravity Falls alternate universe where the protagonists and antagonists switch roles. I was responsible for making the title card (including one version of the logo), and the end credits. You can see those in this video!

Charley Marlowe the Piratecoric

The Captain's Dinghy

As of May 2022, I am the main admin (see: First Mate) of a Discord server called the Captain's Dinghy - a community about the HBO Max show Our Flag Means Death, and other miscellaneous pirate media such as Sea of Thieves, Monkey Island and Pirates of the Caribbean! I make server members feel at home, keep the Discord bots and notification alerts in working order, as well as promote the server on TikTok and YouTube. The server was founded by the Captain themselves, piratecoric voice actor Charley Marlowe, and is run by many other fans of the show. (logo by Captain Dyablos)

Real-Time Fandub

Created by Charley in summer 2016, Real-Time Fandub is an improvised comedy series where voice actors dub over a show, movie, or video game in one take, no rehearsal, no script and barely any prior knowledge of the source material. Trying to get it right leads to funny jokes as the cast tries to guess the plot!I was brought onto the show very early on to put together opening graphics and logos, later editing highlights, and then making thumbnails, closed captions, and maintaining the show's social media. By the start of what we call "the Driftwood Saga", I doing the sound design for an entire feature-length fandub! I also made my debut as an improv voice actor here. Real-Time Fandub is currently my second longest-lasting (and ongoing!) online commitment and I built a neat circle of friends and colleagues through it. Press below for a more detailed look into my work on the show.

Real-Time Fandub

Universe Falls is a crossover of Gravity Falls and Steven Universe. This crossover AU was used as the setting for a series of eight videos by Charley Marlowe. I was brought in as the sole editor of the series' eighth and final installment. Nearly everything you see and hear - I was responsible for putting it together. This includes sound design, lighting and color, pose rigging, background cleanup, mixing, mastering, typography, and even closed captions. The only parts that aren't mine are the original artwork, the music, the stream ad break, and the voice acting.

On the topic of cryptocurrency

No, I'm not interested in cryptocurrency and not interested in NFTs. Thanks.

"INNERLMNT", the name

How Do You Say It?

My screen name on most platforms is "INNERLMNT". It's just "inner element" with the vowels taken off the second word. Here's Ellie Spectacular saying the name correctly:

Here is Jack Douglass saying my screen name incorrectly:

What Does It Mean?

Being "in your element" means that you're deeply involved and focused on what you love, enjoy, and feel comfortable in. Think of your favorite hobby, that Wikipedia rabbit hole, or when you're in a quiz and a question pops up about a subject you're really fond of and could talk about for hours, or when you're cooking and do it excellently without giving it a second thought. That is what being in your element means. The "zone".Creative people know all too well what it's like to be in the zone, and how difficult it can be to make stuff when they're out of it.For me, it is a frequent descriptor of the state I need to be in, in order to create. Sometimes it's also a room I can invite others into, so they can pick my brain and understand how I think. "Welcome to my inner element."

Real-Time Fandub

Real-Time Fandub is a group of voice actors who dub popular things from memory. They are only missing one key component: A memory. Gazemaze in gazemazement as the plot starts out normal and improv changes it into something weird, unrecognizable, and shitpost-esque every time we slip on a line!

I was involved with the show as early as the first livestream, when I was invited to prepare an intro. From there, my main involvement was in prepping title sequences, making spoof logos with the show's name in them, editing highlight reels from the livestreams, making promotional art and thumbnails, as well as being the voice of some characters in rare occasions. I wasn't good at the voice portion for the most part, but the rest checks out! You can see each of those in their own sections below.

Out of Context

As of late 2021, I also started a Twitter account dedicated to posting clips of the show context-free. I've been using the account as a means to show off my graphic and motion design skills in some instances, like in supercut videos and the overall graphics that I pepper into the page.

Regarding Older Videos

"INNERLMNT" as a moniker only applies to the videos that I made starting from June 15, 2021 to the present, however my journey on YouTube is much, much longer and full of thorns and stepping stones. I've gone by many nicknames - "arberlezi" (my own name), "GumballFallsFan", "evolve330", "CostinTea", even "fallbackintoreality" to a small select few. Most of you aren't expected to know about this nuance and backstory, but there is a non-zero chance you've seen my stuff before visiting my abode under this name.If you are one of the maybe 4,000 people who watched my videos, or even one of the 2 million views on my stuff - you may be wondering where my stuff is. The answer is that I decided to delist a bunch of my videos from my old channel. Yes, I'm not proud of the person I was from 2013-2020 - it's okay to know that because I don't know a lot of people who would be proud of themselves during their formative and childish years. Nevertheless, I know that my videos catered to some sort of an audience, and at one point, myself. So I can't bring myself to private my videos entirely like others might do. But if someone wants to seek them out? Then you are well within your right to seek them out, comment on them, like them, share them. They are part of history and worth telling the story of. Simply understand that the videos aren't a promise of what's to come with my content. I very much promise nothing in regards to the genre, schedule, type or ideas of videos to come, and certainly not on the old evolve330 channel. I don't upload there anymore! That being said, I haven't kept every piece of that history. There are very rare situations even I wouldn't keep to the public and that I wouldn't really lay my eyes on again. I may only privatize a video for any one of these reasons:
- someone is irreversibly deadnamed in the video
- the video implies a romantic relationship that I am no longer in
- I overshared personal information that might endanger my peers' privacy
- the video has personal traumatic associations
- I was kind of an asshole in the video and it no longer fundamentally represents me as a person
My previous YouTube channel, "evolve330" has all of my currently available work organized in playlists, handy for you to watch. Sadly I have deleted videos from before 2013 before I thought to archive as much of my stuff as possible, so this is the best thing I can possibly offer. I hope you enjoy what part of my history I have given you. Thank you for your understanding.

Carrds

I make a shit ton of Carrds. Reasons range from functional to exercising web design and layout. Here's a list of all the Carrds I've made so far, including this one.
