What the name means

"INNER ELEMENT", abbreviated "INNERLMNT" for social media, is my current and most active online nickname. It's based on the phrase "to be in one's element" in English, which means "a place or state of being that a person or object is best suited to" according to Wiktionary. It signifies a state of being where you're most pleasant, most focused or most creatively active. This may also be colloquially understood as a "comfort zone".

Why I picked the name

It's not obvious by looking at me as a person, but I suffer from a lot of executive dysfunction in my life, which often results in irregular deadlines, projects that sometimes fall by the wayside, and a lot of precautions to make sure I am as creatively fulfilled as possible despite my shortcomings. When I post something, it is when I'm absolutely focused, locked in; in my inner element, so to speak. My executive dysfunction should say nothing about the passion I put into my work, or the creative drive I have, nor should it paint a picture of how happy I actually feel when I create videos and images out of my brain. It's a state of mental stimulation, and it's my current truth.
